August is almost over and schooll has started....where has the summer gone?

My mom came up for a quick visit. She had a great idea to organize my craft room. This is what my house looked like after she left. I did finally finish the room and will do a post on it later.

We went to Cali for Austin's reception down there and Riley and I had the privilege to go on a cow hauling' trip with grandpa Marty. Still not sure if 24 hours in a car for anyone let alone a baby is a good thing.....but we arrived home safe.

 We finally had to drive home. Riley's first drive from AZ.  Of course it was on the hottest day record this summer in AZ and Ut. Oh did I mention we had no A/C?!!

Tuesday marked ONE MONTH for Riley. Just in this last week I feel like he has changed so much. He has started getting an attitude and it is so cute. He gets really stubborn and does not want to sleep when he is tired so he just whines. Its funny.

Holly and Ella came to visit!!

Holly is one of my roommates from college and we have been great friends since.  Her, her husband, Creed, and their baby girl, Ella (8 months), live in Boise, ID

We are already planning their marriage.  Riley is all for it. See how he's trying to put his arm around her? (smooth bud).  Im not sure Ella is too happy about it though....

Having too much fun!

Well this last week seemed to be a challenge. I took Riley in for his 2 week appointment and even though I thought he was getting bigger, he wasn't gaining any weight at all.  So then I realized I wasn't producing enough for him so we are now just formula feeding him. He already was a little bit refluxy but now just on the formula he has been really bad with not just spitting up but throwing up his entire bottle before his next one. So now we have changed formulas and it is a little bit better. I just feel bad for the kid because he always has this tummy ache and it makes him more fussy and he doesn't get as much sleep. But he's still as cute as ever!!

The Aceves family are our neighbors and these little girls can't get enough of Riley
